Johnny John Heinz is the nom de plume of Fred Piechoczek, by profession a banker, active in the international financial markets.

Johnny's novels bring to life the first hand experiences of an international life. His intricate plots derive from the dynamic interaction of the colourful personalities that populate his fiction, often as strange as reality.

His novel Ramona was nominated for the Booker Prize in 2002.

Johnny holds a masters degree from Cambridge in modern and medieval languages and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a keen runner, participating in marathons, and writes under the nom de plume of Johnny John Heinz.
